Donations of cash are always needed, appreciated, and tax deductible.
We are in great need of foster homes for dogs and cats (short and long term).
We need transporters to help pull dogs from local pounds or to take them to the vets or boarding facilities.
Volunteers to walk the dogs that are currently being housed in our boarding facilities.
We are verified with Pay Pal, you can make a secure online donation by clicking on the "Make a Donation" button.
On average it costs us $350.00 to vaccinate, heartworm test, fecal test and spay or neuter one of our rescued dogs.
This does not include any treatments for illnesses such as parasites, fleas, mange, heartworm, parvo, kennel cough, or pneumonia. Our vet bills for a sick dog can run anywhere from $500.00 to $ 1,000.00 easily.
Any of our dogs that go into boarding facilities due to our limited foster space, cost us on average $400.00 a month.
We do not begin to recover the investment we make in the health and well-being of our rescued dogs from our typical $100.00 adoption fee.
Please consider becoming a Best Friend of FIDO’s Companion Rescued Dogs.
