On average it costs us $550.00 to vaccinate, heartworm test, fecal test, and spay or neuter one of our rescued dogs. This does not include any treatments for illnesses such as parasites, fleas, mange, heartworm, parvo, kennel cough, or pneumonia.

 

Our vet bills for a sick dog can easily run up to $1,000.00.

 

Any of our dogs that go into boarding facilities due to our limited foster space cost $600.00 a month.

 

Many of our dogs live with trainers to receive formal obedience training and socialization that costs $1,000.00 a month.

We do not begin to recover the investment we make in the health and well-being of our rescued dogs from our typical $100.00 to $150.00 adoption fees.
